Not Forgotten

More Bumps In The Road, Supremes Come And Go, Florence's Tough Life, A Musical Dream

To the surprise of many people, the Supremes continued to be successful after Diana Ross left the group. With Jean Terrell singing lead, the Supremes began a new phase of their careers. Mary,Cindy, and Jean toured heavily to support their first album together, Right On. The album featured a new sound for the Supremes.

On Right On, the group sounded more soulful. There were more group harmonies like in the old days of the Supremes. Audiences responded positively to the new sound, and the group continued with a second album, New Ways … But Love Stays. That album featured an even funkier sound and included covers of songs by the Beatles and Simon and Garfunkel.
