A New Century, The Same Love
The new millennium saw Stevie working harder than ever for charities. Stevie has supported charities fighting child hunger, disease, homelessness, and poverty for more than twenty years. On November 8, 2000, Music of Love with a song by Stevie was released. This album was a special tribute by various recording stars to benefit children around the world. Money made on the album went to UNICEF, an organization that helps children all around the world.
Just one month later, Stevie hosted the Toys Benefit Concert. The concert took place at the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles. Fans coming to the concert were asked to bring a new toy as a donation.
