Tragedy and the Future

The Present And Into The Future

In 2001, Elton released his thirty-fifth album, called Songs from the West Coast. He is still working with Bernie Taupin, who wrote the lyrics for this most recent album, as well as the lyrics for John's last thirty-three albums. Amazingly, Elton and Bernie found in one another a special bond, an equation for success and good music. Few people are lucky enough to stumble upon such a startling combination and even fewer are able to greet continuous success because of it. Neither musician, when they started out in small towns with big dreams, would have guessed their present accomplishments. That's why wherever Elton heads in the future will undoubtedly bring more legendary music from a legendary man.
